Our Communities
Supporting local communities.
We believe in doing the right thing, and as a socially responsible company we know that looking after our community is the key to a happier environment. Working closely with local charities and community groups is something we are passionate about, and we are committed to giving back in as many ways as we can.
- Our charity partnership with Life's a Beach funds schemes to help eradicate single-use plastics via education, national clean-up events, and the promotion of reusable products.
- ProCook colleagues are encouraged to take an annual paid good causes day to support a project or charity of their choice, previous activities have included canoeing clean up events and charity sky dives.
- We donate cookware and kitchenware products to a variety of local charities.
- Bronze award Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, we support the armed forces community, and our values align to the Armed Forces Covenant.
- As a Disability Confident Leader we value the benefits of a diverse workforce and are committed to recruiting, retaining and developing disabled people.
- Provide work experience and placements for people with barriers to work, we have worked with the GEM Project and Gloucestershire Employment hub.
Charity of the Year
We are delighted to be supporting FoodCycle, our charity partner chosen by colleagues.
FoodCycle is a national charity that brings communities together by providing free community meals made entirely from surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. Supported by dedicated volunteers, FoodCycle not only reduces food insecurity and unnecessary food waste, but also helps to combat loneliness and improve mental wellbeing by creating welcoming spaces for people to connect.
